HHS Students and Parents: The recent adoption of the 1-1 laptop program means students and parents are REQUIRED to attend informational meetings before the student receives a laptop.
These meetings will be held at three different times: Thursday, Oct. 18 at 4:00-5:00; Tuesday, Oct. 23 at 6:00-7:00, and Thursday, Oct. 25 at 6:00-7:00. At this meeting parents and students will learn about the care of the computer, expectations for use, and information regarding use as a learning tool. A usage agreement will be distributed and collected at the end of the meeting.
Seniors will be getting their computers by the end of October, juniors shortly after, then sophomores and freshmen. If all goes well in the distribution process, all students should have theirs no later than early January. Even though a student may be a freshman or sophomore, attending one of these three meeting dates is essential to getting the laptops distributed in a timely manner.
