Team Hillary: Stronger Together“This November we are going to prove love trumps hate,” Hillary Clinton said on September 8.
On November 8, we won’t just choose our next president, we will have a chance to make history and decide what kind of country we are going to be. With Hillary Clinton, we finally have a woman candidate who is not only better qualified than any other candidate, she has proven her intelligence, commitment, and passion for the job. America has gone 240 years without a woman leading us, but now, after a long time coming, we have a chance to break the stretch. However, that is far from being the only reason why Hillary should be the next president of the United States.
Hillary has spent decades fighting to make her way to the top. She has spent countless days earning the respect of millions of men and women all around the world. As a former secretary of state, U.S. senator, first lady, and a lifelong advocate for women, no one is more qualified to be president than Hillary.
Hillary has shown us the way in multiple areas. She is a strong advocate of women’s rights and gay rights. Clinton has made it her life’s mission to ensure the world knows, “human rights are women’s rights and women’s rights are human rights”. Hillary isn’t afraid to fight for women’s health and equal pay and to bring attention to domestic violence.
We must ask ourselves who we want our young daughters and sons looking up to. Do we want the voice of America making light of sexual assault and calling women “slobs” and “disgusting animals”? Do we want our children growing up thinking women are essentially aesthetically-pleasing objects? How about a woman’s worth only depending on her looks and body? I want girls, young women, and women of any age, in fact, being encouraged to be strong and powerful. As well as being inspired to change the horrid pattern of sexual assault and objectifying a woman’s body.
Clinton is also working tirelessly to make college more affordable. In August, Hillary announced her “new college compact” plan, pledging to increase college affordability and ease the burden of student loans.
“College is supposed to help people achieve their dreams. But more and more, paying for college actually pushes away those dreams further and further out of reach. That is a betrayal of everything college is supposed to represent,” Clinton said in New Hampshire.
Honestly, I would have supported Hillary regardless of the Republican candidate, but now with Trump leading the way on the opposite end it gives me more motivation to vote for Hillary. As the election races on, it becomes even more evident how unfit Trump is to be our president. Besides the fact Trump is a racist, sexist, authoritarian, and narcissistic man, he in no way compares to the phenomenon that is Hillary Clinton.
I support Hillary Clinton. I will never stop supporting her. It is up to us to decide what kind of country we want to be. It is up to us to choose to represent equality and freedom. As Michelle Obama says, “I’m with her,” and I could not agree more.

Leading up to this political season, I have never really cared about who became president in the past elections. This year I became involved at first just to know what was going on. I had heard the names Trump, Cruz, Rubio, etc. for the Republican nomination but I did not really know what each of them stood for until these past few months. Donald Trump ended up winning the Republican presidential nomination, and he chose his running partner to be Mike Pence. If I could vote, the Trump campaign would instantly have my vote with the addition of Mike Pence. He is a man of God and spreads God’s word through his political speeches. My family friend went to a Mike Pence rally and she had nothing but good things to say about Pence and what he believes in. Now, Trump has a different personality compared to Pence. First off, Donald Trump is not as bad of a person as the media makes him out to be. He is more than qualified to run for president. Some people say that he is an unsuccessful business man which is false. Trump alone is worth more than 10 billion dollars, according to International Business Degree Guide. The reason that he is so successful is that he does not give up and he says exactly what he wants to do. His presidential slogan “Make America Great Again” in itself states his opinion on how America is faring compared to the rest of the world. And, as sad as it is, I agree with him. Our nation is turning against God and becoming a non-Christian nation. With Trump and Pence running the nation, our nation can reverse this and become a nation dependent on God again like it once was. There are many prophecies that talk about Jesus coming back to earth. Many priests and churches have agreed that the bible speaks of people who will usher us into the point of when Jesus will return. They almost all agree that the second coming of Jesus starts with Trump and Pence. That is what I believe as well, and that is why I support Donald Trump and Mike Pence.
