The fall sports season has come to an end for many of the Tiger sports programs.
The Tiger football team ended its season with a record of 1-8, but showed some bright spots throughout the season.
The softball team ended its season a couple weeks ago, after being beaten in the quarterfinals by Holdrege. Their final record was 13-23.
The volleyball team is showing great push, with an overall record of 17-8, with two games left before districts.
The boys tennis team placed well at the state tournament. Junior Matt Karnes placed third in the Class B #1 Singles bracket, while the duo of Nick Hamburger and Ryan Kern placed fourth in the #2 Doubles bracket. Overall, the Tigers tied with Ralston for eighth place.
The cross country team placed 2 runners at the Class B state meet. Sophomore Nolan Kohmetscher placed 29th overall, with a time of 17:37.0. Senior Kaitlyn Pawloski finished 50th, with a final time of 21:31.7
The girls golf team finished their season with only two girls out for the team. Both golfers worked hard and improved over the season.
With such an action packed fall, Tiger fans should be excited for what the winter brings.
