Things are starting to get underway with both chamber and full orchestra. Their first concert will be next month. Mr. Jank, the orchestra class instructor, has both chamber and full orchestra to teach and get them ready for this coming up concert. Mr. Jank says, “After four rehearsals we’ve come a long way,” and says they will be plenty ready for the next concert. He has arranged Christmas themed songs that challenge his students.
A senior Cassandra Karr is a first violin and has been a student of Mr. Jank for five years. She has been in both chamber and full orchestra the past three years and this year goes to full orchestra practice when able to. She is excited for the upcoming concerts and says she enjoys being on stage and being up there with her friends.
Mr. Jank is preparing for an great concert and hopes many more students and family members will enjoy it.
