There are many classes at HHS that are offered to students, but some classes are more difficult than others. Senior Angela Vu said that world lit has been her hardest class. Senior Gicelle Garcia Barraza said physics has been the hardest class out of her four years. Senior Chris Glaze has also had difficult classes.
“The hardest class has probably been trigonometry,” Glaze said.
For many of these students, hard work and dedication were needed in order to pass these classes.
“My tips would be to always ask questions if you don’t understand something and come in for help if you need it!” Garcia Barraza said.
World lit is an honors class so it takes a lot of work and studying.
“World lit can be difficult at times, but the workload is what gets you. There is never a day that goes by when we don’t have assignments. I almost always have at least ten tabs opened on my computer dedicated to just this class. We are always working on an essay, or an article of a week, or filling out study guides for our readings. If” said Vu.
According to Garcia Barraza physics can be a hard class but she also makes fun memories.
“One of my favorite memories in physics class was when we did one of the group projects where we had to build a bridge and see how much weight it would hold before we crushed it,” Garcia Barraza said.
Although taking honors classes can be hard, Vu likes the challenge.
“Throughout my entire life I have been taking all honors courses and I have had panic attacks nearly every single day,” Vu said. “But hey, what’s life without a challenge.”
