Hastings High Hosts Tiger Clash Show Choir Competition

Lincoln High’s Momentum show choir takes the stage Saturday afternoon of Tiger Clash at Hastings High. The group is directed by previous Hastings High choir director, Jon Marquez.

Central City’s Vocal Eclipse show choir is up next in the afternoon of Tiger Clash at Hastings High. The group is performing the song “Levitating” by Dua Lipa. During the performance, the fire alarms in the school went off due to a cotton candy machine that was right under a smoke alarm. The group kept performing and the crowd cheered them on.

Grand Island Northwest 14 Karat gold show choir takes the stage in the late afternoon of Tiger Clash at Hastings High. The performance theme is about working 9-5, then having a vacation.

Ralston RUSH show choir presents in the late afternoon of Tiger Clash at Hastings High. This group’s performance takes them to finals for the very first time in school history.

Grand Island Senior High Ultimate Image show choir performs in the early evening of Tiger Clash at Hastings High. This group won Tiger Clash the competition on Saturday, January 22, 2022.

Hastings High Uncaged Onstage show choir showcases their exhibition early evening of Tiger Clash at Hastings High. Since Hastings High hosted the competition, they are not allowed to compete.

Grand Island Senior High Ultimate Image show choir executes first for the finals after the dinner break at Hastings High. Six show choirs made it to the finals, and each performed their show again.

Ralston Runway show choir presents in the second spot of finals at Hastings High. Like the Ralston RUSH show choir, the girl group also performs in the finals for the first time in school history.

Lincoln Northeast Voices ‘N’ Harmony performs third in the finals at Hastings High. This group had vintage-looking costumes to represent their “To Build a Home” theme.

Kearney KHS POP CHOIR goes fourth in the finals at Hastings High. Their opening song featured “What A Man Gotta Do” by the Jonas Brothers.

Ralston RUSH performs fifth in the finals at Hastings High. The girls wore high-low light blue ruffled dresses, and the men wore pink and blue tuxedos.

Grand Island Northwest 14 Karat gold takes the stage last on Saturday night at Hastings High. 14 Karat gold has their own lighting set up that they set up prior to the show.
