Music is everywhere, from television to blogs to stores. Some people listen to music to relieve boredom or to just distract them from their everyday lives. But most people find it as an effective outlet when it comes to who they are.
Depending on the genre one is listening to usually determines how one speaks, dresses, and acts. Teens tend to mimic what their favorite artists from what they wear, what they listen to, and even what they eat.
Scientist have said it can also help with things such as anxiety. Since music is processed through the same part of the brain as language, it can motivate and inspire you. Some music can even aid your focus with intellectual thoughts through deep and meaningful songs. Music is a great way to persuade due to having hidden messages throughout some songs. Sometimes when studying it helps you relax and focus on the task at hand. In some studies it was shown that students who play an instrument are able to handle multiple tasks and understand emotions in voices.
All in all music has one job and that is to bring people together. “It allows us to experience the same emotions” as country artist, John Denver would say.
