Update (2-22-13): There is school Friday, February 22nd. Everything will be going as planned. If you do not feel safe bringing your children to school please stay safe and stay home.
According to the Hastings Public Schools webpage:
“There is school today (Friday), however, if a parent feels it is unsafe for their student to get there, please keep them home.”

A statement made by HPS on their Facebook page states:
“If everything goes according to plan, it looks like it will be safe for students to attend school tomorrow. We will continue to evaluate the situation and keep you posted. It all depends on when it stops snowing and when the roads become clear. If we do close school, the decision will not be made until in the morning”.
