HHS is a very diverse school. With so many students some are bound to have an interesting hobby or two.
Junior Ethan Dawson enjoys creating and sharing youtube videos with people online. He started doing it so he could prove to himself that he’s not afraid of the camera. His videos consist of him giving reviews about his favorite games. He’s getting a new camera soon and he’ll be creating lots of content. He likes imitating the Batman voice and is doing a video on it soon. You can check out his channel here.
Sophomore Noah Whyrick spends his free time writing poems for cute girls. Noah was nice enough to write a poem for me.
“Some say love is a four letter word
I say love is Tasia
Some say love is a feeling
I say love is a bright blooming flower
Like drips of rain off a leaf Tasia
I think I’m falling for you
Tasia Tasia please love me too
For together we will always be shining”
“When I write poems I see it as though I’m just rapping; then the words just flow to my mind,” Whyrick said.
Sophomore Tristan Bohling has a hobby of making wooden weapons that he then sells to people. He can make a basic dagger in about five minutes. His most complicated project was a sword from the video game Zelda; this sword took him about an hour of solid work. He charges around $10 per weapon depending on how it comes out and whether or not you want it painted.
It’s the kids you expect the least from that will tell you the most.
