Twitter. One of the fastest growing social media websites has a number of reasons why people should use it.
You can tweet, letting your followers know what’s happening with you. You can follow your favorite sports teams and get the latest updates on scores and the behind the scenes action with that team. You can even follow comedians to get a good laugh. Whatever way you worship it, you’ll always be entertained.
There are so many accounts on Twitter that it makes it nearly impossible to know what to follow. Here are a few that could be an interest to students at Hastings High…
@tigercubnews, @Tips4Tigers, and @HHStiger_pride are just a few accounts that will keep you up to date with everything going on at Hastings High. Follow them and you will know things from the theme of a game, to dates of college fairs and so on.
For all the die-hard sports fans, @espn is the perfect account. They tweet about all the breaking news in sports, from college scores and news to the pro athletics. @espn will also give updates on stats, injuries, and other aspects of sports.
There are also many comedians that tweet. Some are funny but are too inappropriate to mention, while others are flat out hilarious with kindergarten-style jokes. Either way, laughing is a guarantee with these accounts.
Twitter is a great social media site, which is full of fun. The only problem that comes with Twitter is the way people represent themselves. When following new accounts, only follow ones that are regarded as a positive account.
