At the end of each HHS Principal’s Update for the Week, one may have begun to notice a section titled, “NSAA News.”
NSAA stands for Nebraska Schools Activities Association, their job is to govern students for activities and athletics and keep a safe environment.
Dr. Szlanda gets monthly emails from the NSAA and attaches them to his Weekly Update.
“The goal of this statement is to supervise and do our best to give students direction,” Szlanda said.
If anyone were to violate this statement the NSAA will get involved in order to keep athletic events friendly.
“We just need to be nice to each other and if we cheer on each other we won’t have these issues,” Szlanda said.
