Halloween has been one of the favorite festivals for most students. Following the tradition of previous years, Student Council at Hastings high organized a pumpkin painting event on Oct 28.
“ I think it was really fun as we got the students to get together and hangout and do some of the Halloween festivities.” Says junior Sophia Pankratz.
The students brought their own pumpkin and let their creativity run wild on it. With all the fun designs and paintings, and Halloween just around the corner, the activity added the pumpkin spice to the festival.
“It is a good way to get student body involved.” Says junior Chloe Swoboda.
Since the activity was open for all Hastings high students, a good number of students showed up.
“ With twenty students showing up I think it was quiet a success.” Says Sophia Pankratz.
