Sarah Johnson is 17 years old and is a junior. She has been on the Tiger Cub Online staff for a year and a half and is currently copy editor. Sarah is an honors student and highly involved in school activities. She plays saxophone in jazz band and plays clarinet in marching band, pep band, symphonic band, and full orchestra. She is a freshman mentor, is on the Teen Advisory Board at the Hastings Public Library, is in National Honor Society, is a volunteer at the Hastings Museum, and hopes to be a Big Brothers Big Sisters mentor. In her free time, Sarah loves to read, write, draw, and listen to music.
When she graduates from Hastings High, Sarah wants to attend Hastings College and major in biology. She hopes to continue on in school at K-State or Iowa State and become a veterinarian. Some other things Sarah hopes to do are travel and write young adult books.
