The Girl With The Green Ribbon
A boy named Alfred, and a girl named Jenny, both had classes at school together. Alfred grew a crush on Jenny but there was something different about Jenny compared to the other girls. Jenny always wore a green ribbon around her neck. When Alfred tried to talk to her he asked, “Why do you wear that ribbon all the time?” and she responded by saying, “I cannot tell you, it is not important,” Nonetheless, Alfred still liked her and she ended up developing feelings for him as well. After being together for years, Jenny and Alfred decide to get married. Even after their wedding, Alfred still wanted to know about the ribbon. “Now that we are married, you must tell me about the green ribbon,” Alfred demanded. But instead of showing her husband, Jenny said, “You still must wait, I will tell you when the right time comes.” Some more years passed and Jenny and Alfred were growing old together. One day, Jenny felt very sick and the doctor told her that she was dying. “Alfred, now I can tell you about the green ribbon, untie it and you will see why I could not tell you before,” Jenny said. Slowly and nervously, Alfred untied the green ribbon, and Jenny’s head fell off.
One night, a husband and wife wanted to go out with some friends, so they left their 13-year-old daughter at home by herself. She was worried about being alone but soon felt fine because of the german shepherd they had bought a couple of weeks ago. It helped her sleep at night by sleeping under her bed and licking her hand throughout the night. When going around and locking all the doors and windows, she found that the basement window would not lock. She thought it was fine because everything else was locked. After watching tv for a couple of hours, it was time for her to go to bed. She got comfy under the covers on her bed and put her hand down so that she could feel her dog on the floor. Sure enough, he licked her hand to let her know he was there and she finally relaxed and went to bed. In the middle of the night, she woke up to what sounded like a dripping sound, and she thought that maybe she didn’t turn the tap off. She ignored it and she dropped her hand down by the side of the bed to feel her dog and yet again the dog licked her hand. Not too long later, she woke up again to the dripping sound and it was annoying her so much that she walked to the bathroom and made sure the tap was off. Once she got into bed again, she dropped her hand and felt her dog give it a lick. She ended up going to sleep and didn’t wake up till her parents got home. But the dripping sound was back and she was shocked. Walking to the bathroom, she thought maybe the tap had broken but instead when she turns the light on she sees her dog, skinned and hung from the bathroom shower. Her parents heard a scream and ran inside to investigate what happened. When her parents came into her bedroom, she ran to hug them, but from behind her parents she saw written in blood on her mirror said, “Humans can lick too, my dear.”
A teenage girl had been hired to babysit for a family in the town over from hers one night. She was in charge of babysitting two kids in a huge house for the parents who were going out to celebrate their anniversary. The parents gave the babysitter their number in case of an emergency. Before they were on their way, they told her to keep the kids out of the collection room because it was filled with manu statues. After they left, the babysitter fed the kids dinner and let them watch some cartoons before getting them down to bed. She went to the living room and was watching tv when she heard a giggle come from the hallway. She got up thinking it was one of the kids, and she was right but they were both playing in the collection room. As she walked in, she took in all of the statues which were mostly circus clowns. Feeling uneasy, she asked the children why they were out of bed and they responded by pointing at a lifesize clown statue that was sitting in a rocking chair and said that they were playing with him. After putting the kids back to bed, she decided to inform the parents that the children were playing in the collection room so she called them. She told them that the kids were playing with the life-sized clown statue and silence came from the other end of the phone. A moment later the wife lowered her voice and said, “What life-sized clown? We don’t have one.” The babysitter walked over to the room and looked at the clown in the chair and replied, “There is definitely a life-size clown sitting in the rocking chair.“ That panic broke from the other side of the phone call, “Get the children and go to the neighbor’s house NOW, we’re calling the police and will meet you there,” the mother said. She ran to the children’s room and grabbed them and ran to the neighbor’s house where a police car arrived a few minutes later. She and the babysitter watched in horror as the police started dragging a clown in handcuffs from the house. When the parents returned they were told that the clown was a crazed serial killer that escaped prison.
