At the last student council meeting, students from all grades gave short presentations on why they were fit for chair positions for the council. Afterward, the council voted to elect five new students to the positions open. The 2019-2020 team includes upper and underclassmen.
Chyna Delker, the 2018-2019 president, passed her responsibilities to junior Jack Coil who previously held the vice president position. Sophomore Ashlee Long took over the vice president seat from Kate Askey. Sophomore Sydney Nelson was elected treasurer, sophomore Alice Vu is secretary, and sophomore Valerie Mendoza is the new historian.
They will start their responsibilities in the Fall.
