Homecoming is here! Spirit week, football games, and all of the excitement. There’s no better place to be than here at HHS.
One of the most exciting things during Homecoming is the invitations to this spectacular event. There are so many creative and sweet ways to ask that special someone to the Homecoming dance.
Sophomore Sam Roth asked freshman Jamie Johnson.
“I asked her by getting a giant Eileen’s cookie and put “homecoming” across the top,” Roth said.
“I am most definitely excited to go with my sweetheart,” Roth said.
The one invitation that stood out from the rest was an invitation by senior Bryan Nakashima-Pedroza. He asked junior Alexis Kraft, by putting “homecoming” on the large outdoor sign of Dairy Queen, were they are both employed.
“The great thing about it was that our boss was very supportive,” Kraft said.
It was a very cute way to ask! It was also very creative.
“He got the idea from my friend, Justice Malesker,” Kraft said.
Though one might get rejected, there are plenty of positives to go along with Homecoming invites. You get the chance to show someone that they are special to you, and you also get to show off your creativity. Hang in there, and get right back into it! There’s always plenty of fish in the sea.
