A new viral trend has been sweeping the nation, and it’s all for a good cause. The ALS Ice bucket Challenge is a challenge where, once nominated, you must either dump a bucket of ice water on your self, or donate money. This new fad has also been spread to teachers and students at HHS. Teachers at HHS had the opportunity to pay $5 to wear jeans on Fridays for a month. Band teacher Erin Beave is dumping a bucket of water on his head for every $100 raised by his students. Although most viral trends get annoying pretty quickly, many appreciate this one because since the videos have started the ALS foundation has reported over $100 million in donations.
