In a town such as Hastings, students are always looking for something to do with their friends. Many times a trip to one of the town’s movie theaters reigns as one of the best choices, but, choosing a movie that will fit to everyone’s likings can be a difficult choice. Luckily Summit Entertainment has swooped in to save the day with their new romantic comedy Warm Bodies.
The movie’s plot goes as follows. Not-so-brain dead zombie “R” stumbles around, always looking for food. On a outing to find a quick meal he comes upon a group of survivors foraging for supplies where he meets and saves a human, Julie, from the rest of the zombies. As the mov
ie continues, “R” falls in love with Julie and is forced to get her out of many tight situations along the way, not only saving her but also put in a leadership role to save all of zombie kind, from the remaining survivors.
Without giving the whole movie away, I might not be able to do it justice, but with all of it’s witty remarks, and unexpected twists it had the theater up in laughter many times. Along with being funny, Warm Bodies combines two types of movies, an action zombie movie and a romantic comedy, making it perfect for the girls and guys in the group.
So next time you are in need of a movie, rent “Warm Bodies”, sit back, and enjoy a great movie.
