On Thursday, Hastings girls and boys basketball teams played at Seward. Girls played at 6:00 pm and lost 41-49 and boys played at 7:30 pm and lost 9-11.
The first Hastings swimming and diving meet of the season was held on Thursday at the Kearney Triangular at 4:00 pm.
There is a winter pep rally on Friday at 3:00 pm in the North gym.
DECA left for a central region leadership conference in Omaha on Friday that lasts until Sunday.
Boys and girls JV and varsity basketball will head to Crete on Friday. JV plays at 4:30 pm, girls varsity play at 6:00 pm, and boys varsity play at 7:30 pm.
The Hastings debate team is going to Millard West for a two day tournament on Friday until Saturday night.
On Saturday, there is a varsity swimming and diving invitational being held in Hastings.
