On Saturday, girls and boys basketball played at York High School. The girls lost 50-48 due to a buzzer beater three. The boys also fell to the Dukes 57-40.
The wrestling team participated in Flat Water Fracas on Friday and Saturday. The team placed top ten in a tournament with over 30 teams. Connor Laux and Izaak Hunsley went undefeated on the weekend.
The theater department was busy as well with auditions and callbacks for the spring musical, Big Fish. The results cast list was put out Saturday and the cast will begin preparations soon.
The Chamber Choir performed at the high school auditorium on Saturday in combination with performances from church choirs around time.
The band also had their annual holiday concert on Tuesday where the concert band, symphonic band, and Tiger Jazz Ensemble. Some students sported Santa hats and holiday colors in celebration of the season.
The student council is also bringing the holiday spirit by putting on an ugly Christmas sweater day. It will be Thursday, December, 21. Wear your ugliest holiday sweater to show your school and holiday spirit!
