It was definitely a busy week for the Hastings Tigers.
On Monday the band had a Jazz festival. Later that night the girls basketball team played the first round of sub-districts against Lexington, winning 37-28, advancing into the next round.
Tuesday was the calmest day of the week with the only major event being the second round of sub-districts against McCook. Winning 48-28, they advance to the district championship on Saturday playing York at York at six o’clock. Wednesday the Chamber Choir went around town singing to people who bought a singing valentine. After school, there was an event to send off the wrestling state qualifiers.
Thursday was the first round of state for the wrestlers in Omaha where seven of our own are competing.
