Winter athletics and activities will begin next Monday. Students interested in participating in any winter sports or activities be sure to get your orange card and paperwork filled out before the start of the season.
Science club members made a quick trip to Hastings College on Friday to view a glass blowing demonstration.
The debate team participated in the Roger Maxwell Debate Invite in Norfolk on Saturday. Hastings got second place overall.
For novice congress, Caiden Henry-Perlich and Linnea Howie were nominated, Ahvienda Montague received seventh place, Andrew Brant placed fourth, Sydney Nelson got third, and Anna Wibbels got second.
For varsity Congress, Sam Johnson was nominated, Carter Wenburg placed seventh, Chase Johnson got sixth, Daisy Mohler received fifth and Lucy Nielsen got third.
For Novice public forum, Briana Briones, Ben Anderson, Anderson Rogers, and Alice Vu got quaterfinalists.
For novice Lincoln Douglas, Maggie Nielsen got 2nd place, speaker, and semifinalist
